This piece in cherry is my "break-through" sculpture. In this work I found my own style some years ago. Here I tried to capture the power of a mountain lion (panther or cougar) crouching for the pounce as it eyes its prey. The power is gathered in the hindquarters and flows sinuously to the head, which is the point of the long apex triangle. This is a very popular piece and I am showing two slightly different angles. These views show how nicely sculpture fits on a coffee table. Size on commissions for "Ready to Pounce" is negotiable.
