Praying Hands

Praying Hands, Bronze, 13 inches high.

This piece is the only praying hands like it. It is not the typical pious hands, which so often depict a shallow sanctimoniousness – at least to me. This one is in fact a variety of "Healing Hands" set up on end. On end they are transformed into a prayer of supplication (request) offered in a faith gently held.
